Graduated from Nagoya College of Music and completed its postgraduate research program. She studied percussion with Tomokazu Ise, Takeshi Kubota, Sachie Kurihara, and Maki Takafuji, and darbuka with Satoshi Makise. In 2022, she received the Excellence Award in the Percussion Solo Division at Rudiments JAPAN 2022, organized by the All Japan Percussion Federation. The same year, she appeared in the STEVE REICH PROJECT, presented in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Meguro Persimmon Hall.
Matsuno is the founder and artistic director of the percussion ensemble Viciic and a member of the ensemble Once. She also serves as a percussionist with the Gifu Prefectural Educational and Cultural Foundation and is an affiliated artist of the Tajimi Music for Community Development Council.
