To buy tickets for a Vancouver New Music show, please visit our Showpass Profile. Showpass is a Canadian-based ticketing system that offers purchases through Visa, Mastercard, and Amex, with the option of instalment payment through Affirm. You can also purchase a ticket with cash or a credit/debit card at the door of the event.

In an attempt to make events more accessible, we have a range of price points. We offer a General Admission price point, aimed at the general public; we also offer a Supporter price point for those who are able and would like to give a little more. Purchasing a Supporter ticket directly subsidizes our Low-barrier tickets, which makes tickets more accessible to community members. Additionally, we offer a Low-barrier price point, aimed at all of those who require a more affordable price. Patrons are encouraged to select the price point that best suits their needs.
Ticket prices are dependent on the specific event, but generally range from:
Supporter: $39-54
General Admission: $29-40
Low-barrier: $19-28
All prices are net of taxes and processing fees.
We offer complimentary tickets to youth under 12. It’s part of our commitment to making the event accessible and enjoyable for families. Please note that these tickets will be ready for pickup at the will-call on the day of the event (early pickup recommended). To book them please email Casandra at casandra@newmusic.org.
Please note that most of our events are general admission with festival seating on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need to reserve specific seats due to accessibility requirements (e.g., near an exit, on an aisle, far from the stage, etc.), please email us at casandra@newmusic.org. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, preventing you from attending. To request a refund, please email casandra@newmusic.org at least 2 business days before the scheduled event. While we can typically offer a full refund for the ticket price, it's important to note that the ShowPass and Processing fees are non-refundable. Exclusions apply.
If you accidentally overbook yourself, bought tickets for the wrong event or more tickets than you can use, feel free to reach out to casandra@newmusic.org to ask for an exchange to another upcoming Vancouver New Music event (co-presentations are not eligible for exchanges).
