Our events feature festival seating on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we also offer the option to reserve a seat for your convenience. You can choose to reserve a location on the aisle, near an exit, or in a spot with better sound quality, among other preferences. In order to decrease financial barriers, we offer a tiered price scale. Prices vary per event, but usually are as follows:
Low Barrier: $20 - $26
General Admission: $30- $40
Supporter: $41-$54
A complimentary companion ticket is available for anyone who requires assistance to attend. You can request this by contacting us directly; please email casandra@newmusic.org. Availability may be limited, so we recommend booking early.
Accessibility varies by venue and event. Please check the event information or contact us in advance if you have specific access requirements.

Vancouver New Music is committed to following any recommendations and orders made by the Provincial Health Officer (PHO), the province of British Columbia, and the Federal Government related to gatherings and events, and adjustments to procedures and protocols at our events will be made as needed and reflected here.
If you are feeling ill or are fighting a virus, please stay home to recover and feel free to request a refund for your ticket. To request a refund, please email casandra@newmusic.org at least 2 business days before the scheduled event. While we can typically offer a full refund for the ticket price, it's important to note that Showpass and processing fees are non-refundable.
While attending Vancouver New Music events, please follow the directives of our staff and volunteers – our aim is to help keep you and everyone around you safe and healthy. Vancouver New Music maintains a zero tolerance policy for harassment and abusive language or behaviour towards our staff, volunteers, artists, and other patrons. Anyone engaging in such behaviour will be asked to leave and, if necessary, will be subject to removal from the premises and prosecution under the law.
